The McCrea caramels are marvelous. As we do here at Zingerman’s, they combine skilled craftspersonship with great ingredients. Really good butter, pure cane sugar, and then different flavorings for each of their various offerings—real maple syrup, single-malt Ardmore Scotch whisky, sea salt from the coast of New England, real vanilla, organic coffee, black Hawaiian salt and freshly juiced ginger. Jason’s confectionary work is wonderful, the labels are lovely, and the flavors are awesome.
